Thongor Against the Gods by Lin Carter Sequel to Thongor and the Dragon City , the next adventure of Carter's barbarian hero has all the right components-- they just don't quite come together. It all makes narrative sense in terms of getting from the first chapter to the last. Sadly, the whole is somehow inexplicably less than the sum of its parts.
